Subaru Of America’s Annual Share the Love Event Reaches $288 Million in Charitable Donations.

There are few things more rewarding than being able to help and give back to those who need it most. Whether that be to helpless animals, elderly people, sick children, or anyone who just needs assistance or a helping hand in trying times. The Subaru Share the Love Event has shown that the giving spirit is alive and strong, with tens of millions of dollars donated to important charities and causes nationwide.
A Goal To Raise $29 Million
In 2023, Subaru set a goal to raise $29 million for the ASPCA, Meals on Wheels America, Make-a-Wish Foundation, the National Park Foundation, and 832 local charities across America. Subaru is very pleased to announce that not only did they raise $29 million, but they beat that number by raising a total of $31.6 million, with $24 million being donated from Subaru and their dealers’ local charities through their hometown charity program.

A Commitment To Helping
Since 2008, Subaru has raised $288 million for local and national charities in America. This is a continued commitment for Subaru car dealers across the country to be “More Than a Car Dealer,” which shows that Subaru isn’t just a car manufacturer but a company filled with people who understand the value of giving back and helping.
A Word From Subaru
“Here at Subaru, our commitment to community is all about showing love and support in ways that make a meaningful difference. This year, Subaru retailers and customers demonstrated their dedication by donating a record amount to local and national organizations. Subaru is truly More Than a Car Company, and we’re incredibly grateful to our retailers and customers who share our values and helped make the 2023 Share the Love Event a tremendous success,” said Jeff Walters, President and Chief Operating Officer, Subaru of America, Inc.
How Much Was Donated To Each Charity?
Starting November 16, 2023, and ending on January 2, 2024, when a customer purchased or leased a brand new Subaru at a Subaru dealership, the manufacturer donated at least $300 to charity. The ASPCA, Meals on Wheels America, Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the National Park Foundation received a total of $7 million in donations, while 832 local charities across the U.S. received a record amount totaling $24 million.
