One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a dealership. I had purchased my vehicle in February '25. Came in for a routine oil change end of November which took over 3 hours and was told there were several "leaks from the hoses" in my car that would need to be fixed. I was on a road trip when my Subaru was due for its first service. They didn’t have any appointments for over a week, so I did the drop-in service. They told me when I dropped it off that it might be three hours because they’d been very busy. My car was ready in just under three hours. Subaru Rochester has treated us well on more than one occasion. Purchasing two cars, my only advice would be to ask for your personalized interest numbers. Everyone was very nice when we've gone for maintenance. I arrived an hour earlier than expected and they got us in no problem. Special thanks to Josh and Rickey for being knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient.

Went to another mechanic first and told I had a transmission problem. They quoted me $10,000.Went Subaru fully prepared to need a new transmission and work on doing a payment plan.Not only did they realize the other mechanic was wrong but the were able to fix for much $1,600. They got my car done within a day. Mechanics were very up front with me and made sure I got my car back right away.

Had our Forester serviced at Penz Subaru in Rochester. Great service with communication throughout the day when it was getting serviced. They communicate via text which was convenient during my work day. Their van service is very convenient. When I’ve had service that has taken a few days I’ve been able to rent a car.
Patient and kind, willing to explain bill and services. Free loaner while servicing my car and free latte and snack while you wait.

Buy a car from Esad. Sent him a text on Thursday night telling him what I wanted and minutes later he had something. On Friday we did all the paperwork virtually and by 2:00 pm Saturday, I test drove the car, signed the papers and was in my way home, the proud new owner of a Subaru. Esad is a pro and will get you what you want.
Easy, clean experience for buying a new car recently. Jacob was prompt, available for questions during standard hours and not, and great to work with. The vehicle was well prepped and Jacob got plenty done ahead of time to keep the appointment moving along fine.

Very professional service. The Subaru rep, David, took time to describe what types of testing would be done and the approximate cost of tuneup when we dropped off our car. Text messages kept us informed of the progress. When we went to pick up the car, the same rep went through in detail about the tuneup. Initially, the experience was wonderful. We did not have an appointment for an oil change because the website said we did not need one. When we got there, they were extremely busy but they fit us in. We then left after about an hour and a half and everything went well until we shut the car off and turned it back on again, and discovered that the tire pressure gauges were not reset due to rotating the tires. Excellent customer service at Penz Subaru! Came in late in day with an alternator hard-down failure that luckily occurred while I was at Shoppes on Maine. They provided a brand new 2025 Outback as a loaner vehicle on the spot at no cost. They had my car repaired before 5PM the next day, at an incredibly fair price, and had even run my car through their car wash, also at no charge. We just picked up our 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid two days ago and the next day we drove to central Wisconsin for a family Easter weekend. We enjoyed the experience totally!
