Subaru of Rochester Loves Rochester
The Subaru Love Promise is no mere marketing slogan. It is a coordinated effort by Subaru to give back and make better the areas in which it markets its vehicles. While Subaru of America has a five-pronged approach to giving and improving things across the country, they encourage their dealers to do the same in their own communities, and Subaru of Rochester is happy to do just that.
The five areas of focus that make up the Subaru Love Promise are:

- Subaru Loves Learning
- Subaru Loves the Earth
- Subaru Loves Pets
Again, while Subaru works on a national level, Subaru of Rochester has developed a community program that encompasses all five prongs of the Subaru Love Promise. For this, we have received the 2023 Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment Award, which recognizes Subaru dealers who have shown a commitment to delivering on the Subaru Love Promise in their local communities. Subaru Loves to Care
First, we would like to thank everyone who attended and helped support the 45th Annual Swing Your Birdie Golf Classic, of which Subaru of Rochester was a sponsor. The event’s entry fees, as well as a virtual silent auction, brought significant support to the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester, which has provided a home-away-from-home and support to families seeking medical care for their children for 43 years and is located near the Mayo Clinic and Saint Marys Hospital.
We were proud to be able to delivered 80 blankets and patient kits. These blankets provide comfort and support to children and families, who come here, often unexpectedly. This is the eight year we have been able to work with The Ronald McDonald House of Rochester and we look forward to many more to come.Subaru of Rochester Spreads Warmth and Hope: 80 Blankets & Patient Care Kits.
Subaru of Rochester also helps support the Mayo Clinic Blood Bank and Family Service Rochester, which is dedicated to helping provide mental health, senior independence, family stability, and child well-being services.
Subaru Loves to Help
Loves to Help – is about those experiencing homelessness, we have partnered with the Dorothy Day House in the past to provide socks and other items of need to those who’s circumstances have taken an unexpected detour.
Subaru of Rochester is also a proud supporter of The Landing MN. The Landing MN works to break down the barriers between their guests and the services they need such as housing assistance, medical needs, and much more. Additionally, the organization provides necessities such as toiletries, shoes, food, clothing and laundry services to individuals facing homelessness.
Subaru Loves Learning
The Boys & Girls Club of Rochester offers a positive environment for kids K-12 to foster relationships, engage in community activity, explore their talents, and have fun. Simply Love Internationals is a non-profit organization based in Grey Eagle, MN, dedicated to providing housing, learning, and positive growth opportunities for orphaned children in Africa. We also provide direct support to Ben Franklin Elementary School in northwest Rochester.
Subaru Loves the Earth
We support Rochester’s Litter Bit Better program, which holds a weeklong event every April to pick up litter across Rochester and encourage litter avoidance. Located in the 329-acre Quarry Hill Park, the Quarry Hill Nature Center is dedicated to teaching park visitors about natural science through classes, day camps, trips, and the nature center itself. Also in April we planted 40 trees at Southern Woods Park in partnership with Tree Trust. The park has seen a decrease in the number of trees due to various diseases, and the addition of the new trees will have a meaningful impact on the community.
Subaru Loves Pets
We help support the Paws & Claws Mission which provides humane protection, shelter, and adoptive homes for abandoned or lost companion animals while encouraging the spaying and neutering of all companion animals. The Rochester Downtown Alliance is dedicated to creating, enhancing, and promoting a downtown experience that is welcoming, fun, and livable for all Rochester residents, including making downtown Rochester more pet friendly.
